• High court issues notice to Aamir Khan for 'Delly Belly'

    Advert.
Mr. perfectionist is again in controversy because of his latest home production film 'Delhi Belly'. Report is that Madhya Pradesh High Court has issued notice to the actor due to use of vulgar and abusive language in 'Delhi Belly'.

The court issued the notices yesterday (July 7). Aamir Khan should reply to the petition by July 12. The division of bench of Justices Vimla Jain and K K Lahoti have issued notices to Aamir, the censor Board and the Madhya Pradesh Cheif Secretary following a petition filed by Dr Ajay Seth for the alleged use of abusive language in his film.

The film staring Imran Khan, Vir Das and Kunal Roy Kapoor was released on July 1 and has been running successfully. The film has already faced controversy before its release for containing abusive language in the film.

The petition says,"the people, especially the youth, treat Aamir as “God of the acting world” and he has made a number of inspirational films. But Delhi Belly which he has produced, is obscene and has abusive language which is “against the Indian culture”.

The petition also says that the Censor Board has cleared the picture despite some “blue-film” like scenes.

The Division Bench has also watched the movie during the lunch time and they agree with the petitioners that movie does contain abusive language. The court directed that notice be sent to Amir Khan via Email or Fax on urgent basis.
