Friends I am planning to buy a new dslr, it will be my first dslr so I went to shop and he showed me Canon EOS 1100D in stock and said 1200d is also available if I want. now I am confused which one to buy , since my budget is not very high and I am first time buyer, please advice me. Also want to know if it is outdated if I buy EOS 1100D ?

Both are very good entry level DSLR from Canon and there is no major difference, however, 1200d has little advantage of higher resolution in both images and video, higher ISO range. But in real life, difference is negligible. So, if you decide based on specification comparison then buy Canon 1200D, for current 1100D users its not recommend you to upgrade your camera since there is not too much difference in image quality and specification.
