Hi, I am asked to donate one unit of blood but I have never done this before, I don't know how much is one unit of blood .. like in liter or in mili liter , I just need to have little idea aobut its quanitity.

It looks like it is around 450 ml which they refer to one unit , so in short can be considered as half liter.
