Best SUV To Suit Businessman Needs...

Hi Guys !!!

I am a business man from Gurgaon and planning to buy a SUV which will have budget of Rs 20 lakh. I am considering either the Toyota Fortuner or the Mahindra XUV500.

Please suggest which one to go for or any other suggestion without budget constraints would be welcome.

I think.....Tata Safari is good for businessman. Because Tata Safari is so impreesive and attractive SUV in Indian domestic market. Tata Safari Price in India Rs. 8 to Rs. 12.50 lakhs. I would say that Mahindra XUV500 will be perfect car to buy and it will perfectly suit your personality the reason is that this car is the combination of sedan and SUV which also seems to be family car and it will save your money and it also have impressive mileage and look. So just go for it.

If you get a new XUV500, nothing can be better than this. But if you want to buy some other brand,then Force One is a good choice in this budget. Toyota Fortuner can be an option too (for somewhat higher budget).

As for the question....I've done a lot of research on this topic as i myself was in the same state as you.I've test driven both the vehicles so here's my opinion.
TOYOTA FORTUNER:
It is just a bigger Innova,same interiors,same feel and this is not good.
Not a good car to drive at all.To top it all they said 6 months waiting!
XUV 500:
Sedan like performance,brakes lack the fortuners "stop the rotation of the earth" feel.
Loaded with features! Fortuner comes nowhere close!
Cheap! and they delivered it in 2 months!
Yes i have an XUV now!
Problems:The 1st day the driver side door refused to close properly unless shut with full thrust(Hard to bang a door on a brand new car)
Clutch a bit too hard for me.
Overall:VFM.

Definitely XUV 500 is value for money, It has upclass feel and moreover it changes the total premium SUV scene of India... even launch of upcoming Safari is delayed as they are trying to make more competitive in current market segment ..
