My kid a class 6 student in central shhool has to carry a school bag weighing almost 10 kgs.Its a pity to see that students often complaim of back pain and neck pain at this early age . Is that all necessary to have nine periods in the day.The autherities should at best keep four subjects alternatively arrangedin a day so that students are burdened with less weight school bags.

if not is also not possible atleast students should give locker facility in school where thy will keep their notebooks and other books which they dont require to carry home or for tution. This will really reduce their half of the bag weight. Books like drawing and other optional subject which they just need once and for tht thy have to carry it and take it back which is really boring and painful for childrens.
