I have been asked to write a self-introduction post. I am Simran Kaur Dhillon. Born and bought up in Amritsar. Spent some time in Delhi. Currently I am relocated to Mumbai with husband. Trying to adjust with the pace of this fast moving city.

Its nice to see your introduction here. Why you think Mumbai is different than Amritsar ?

Indeed Mumbai is different than Amritsar. In terms of many aspects. Mumbai is a business city and a kind of melting pot...unlike Amritsar which is more of a religious destination. I am nt sure if that answers your question.

Besides, I think you are right about melting pot, in Mumbai you will find lots of diversity, all kind of people are there, if you don't know Marathi, you may feel like outsider there.. whats your experience about same ?
