I am 22 years old. I am in a relationship from last one year. Few months back,my boyfriend is more irritated regarding my interaction with other males. He restricts me of even having formal interaction. I had deleted my accounts from social sites. I changed my number and not given my new no. to any male batchmates. He becomes wild in such issues when I interact with males. He is suspicious as well. I cant make him understand so I have decided to end it here.
But I fear what if he threats me later or cause trouble??
What to do can any one suggest me and how?

My suggestion would be that:- Go to him and speak out your frustration. Make him realize that you have been honest in this relation and due to his pathetic behavior you are ending it.

I don't think he will create any problem in future, because, out of my experience people with low guts & self confidence behave like this.

Big deal ? Big deal if he is asking you not to talk to some of your male friends? Why is it that you need to talk to your male friends every now and then ? You have a boyfriend, isn't that sufficient for you? When you are in love with a person truly and completely all you would naturally want is to stay with him always. Remember, he is the one who will become your future husband. When ever you will be facing problem of any sort, he would be the person you should, and infact you will contact.

Is he not playing his role as your boyfriend and/or as future husband well ? Is he not there when you're bored from daily life and want someone to talk to? Is he not there when you are in some problem and needs someone to help you out there ? Is he not present at times when you have achieved something great in life that has made you happy and you wish to share your joys with someone ? Does he not take you to movies, parties, coffee shops, discos etc ? Does he not give you a good present when its your birthday and/or throw a good party ?

If the answer to all the questions above is a YES, then, please tell me why on earth do you need other guys in your life so much so that your own boyfriend ( a extension of your own self ) today, has lost his importance ?
Why is it that you need other guy's company ? What great are they doing to you when you have a person who is completely dedicated to you far far more than any or all of your male friends combined ?

If the answer to above questions is a NO, better get in touch with your boyfriend again, explain him he is not able to play his roles and responsibility as a boyfriend well. Tell him his inabilities as a good boyfriend is concerning you alot and if he keeps on ignoring you like this, soon he will be loosing you. Talk to him about all this.

If your boyfriend ( not just any friend ) is stopping you to talk to any male friends of yours, be clear, there are things which are making him do that. Boys don't share everything with their girlfriends, accept that. He knows very well how other guys are, what they think about you and how good company they are for you.

Don't misjudge this nature of his as being over-possessive. He is not. He is just caring. Today, you might leave him for this nature of his, but later you will realize what being protective means when the other guy you are committed to will never give a damn to you.

Understand the difference between Love, being Protective and over-possessiveness.

You are correct Pulkit, may be sonal's boyfriend is caring for her and doesn't want her to get exploited by any means, but you also can't deny a fact that sonal has her social life as well, there is no point in being over-possessive with her and snatch away her freedom and her social life, well u say whats the need to contact anyother guys when her bf has all things done for her, well again I want to ask you Pulkit, tell me if a boy can really talk to any girl after being committed to a girl, why can't a girl talk to other boys, and she has also said that, all the guys she talked to were her batchmates, said this it becomes clear that the fact is she might only talk to those guys whom she knew well, Making it short, A boyfriend is a part of a girl's life and not the whole life and so he should not try to restrict or snatch his freedom of getting social.
