I am a 27 year old jatt sikh girl in love with a Hindu Rajput boy. He is working in my office and we are in a relationship since 3 years now. I talked about marrying him with my parents so many times but the reaction was so hostile. They are saying its better not to marry throughout your life than marrying an intercaste/interreligious. They said if I ever go against their wishes they would kill themselves.

Now they are looking for a boy for my marriage. The situation is so tensed. Every second is a depression. I cannot marry anybody else except him. It will be hell.

This is the only option which is left by which everybody will remain happy.

Please help. If anybody is in the same situation as mine. Pls pls plsssssssss.

Well, Let me tell u the best way of staying out if this problem is given by ua parents to u, if u can not think marrying any person other than ur boyfriend, dont think than just be ready for a fight and stay at ua parents home all the life and dont marry anybody, if they are stubborn u are their child you may also be having the same attitude when it comes to taking a decision related to ur life and ur present and future.
But first of all, I would like to ask u, you mentioned that u have talked to ua parents about this guy of urs many times and they said no, I would first like to ask u, have u tried to ask for the reason of their rejection?? Is that only because of caste problem or there are any other problems also, with respect to his financial independence and security and also others if any.
Also, I would like to know what all things u have said to ur father about ur guy....
Is the guys family ready to accept u as their daughter-in-law and wife of their lad???? if not, its time for ur boyfriend to make efforts to convince them by the time u convince ur family...
Contract marriage is not an option it is a dead end of ur life, imagine a situation u r marrying a good person by nature and then u might get divorced after a year or so hurting that person and making his life like hell just for your benefit, make it very clear, u dont have any right to spoil any other persons life and to play with their emotions just because ur parents arent ready to listen to u, if u r determined and truly love ur partner, be ready for a fight till u convince ur parents and ofcourse his too to tie ur knots with each other....
God knows why people like u make commitments of loving each other when u guys are not ready to stay on it for life time???
Just when the time comes to prove that u actually walk ur talks, you find ways and shortcuts to prove that all you did was passing time out with each other and then like cowards run away out of ur problems rather than facing them together and get past against them
