I have a Nokia 2690 and i am using it for quite some time. I am a music lover and i usually download songs from internet from various websites. My problem is when save this songs in my memory card it becomes corrupt, Due to which my phone becomes slow. I want to know whether i can download a software from internet that will help me scan my memory card whenever i want.

That is a basic phone, not even a smart phone..why you need antivirus for it ?

My friend too owns this handset and this sets very often get a lot of viruses in it.. often when he downloads songs from the internet he memory card gets viruses and he faces various problems like the set gets hanged, it becomes too slow in processing and and sometime it doesn't open the folders...

Don't worry friend thats a basic phone not vulnerable to viruses they got nothing to do with your phone.
If you are facing problem with memory card make a clean format.
