Friends, I have one HTC Desire XC dual sim phone in my family and every now and then it is giving problem and everytime I have to solve it. Main problem is that it is very slow. I see no update for this phone from official update. Phone is too slow, even with minimal applications installed, causing lots of problem. I have already tried to reset it but after reset it is not improved. It feels phone is properly optimized for this hardware. Now what I do ? I think installing kitkat can solve problem as it is meant for low RAM phone.

But searching online gives no solution because I can't find any ROM being made for this particular phone, all I see is for Htc desire X but no XC anywhere. So am I stuck with this bad software on this phone ?

Solution or advice or suggestions are appreciated.

I think its not a very popular handset and hence there is no custom ROm available with it. All I can see that phone can update itself through official HTC update at by :

Slide the Notifications panel open, and then tap (Settings icon ).
Tap About > Software updates > Check now.
