I am facing a big trouble with flipkart, I asked them to replace my faulty Redmi 2 phone but they refused saying my phone is not eligible for replacement. They installed Flipkart Smartcheck application and checked my phone and then said my phone is good and not eligible for replacement. But I have serious battery backup problem and also very bad heating issue with phone. Please suggest me what should I do or I am stuck for this faulty phone forever ?

First of all, you need to understand that battery backup and battery heating are common issue associated with smartphones now a days. What you are seeing as fault could be a simple expected behaviour of the phone. I suggest you to first try to update your phone with latest software made available by company and see if that solves your problem.

Otherwise, if you really want to replace then give a reason which can't be traced through their smartcheck app, you can give reason that your phone's touch stopped working, I am sure then they will replace it. But its not suggested to do that, what if you get similar issue with another phone ?

I decided to for replacement, I explained that touch is not working for the phone and they approved my request. Thanks Aarish for the help.
