Microsoft beta testers of its free antivirus software finally launching its final version of Microsoft Security Essential in coming weeks.
Microsoft First launches its beta of Security Essentials to about 75000 user but soon shut down because the target of offering they reached. Microsoft Security Essential is basic Anti-virus and anti spy ware product which going to use minimum space of your hard disk.
Microsoft's also claims that it will also block users running counterfeit copies of Windows from downloading Security Essentials.
Security Essentials will run on Windows XP SP2 or later, Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Beware Pirated XP users...
I think the software will be definitely of great use but at the same time the pirated XP users cannot use it..Well for the correct answer wait for its launch...!!!

i am using its beta version and its true that it is low on resources so a good antivirus and a very basic interface. Also it detects most of the viruses so home users can go for it.
