No more Board Exams in class 10th for CBSE from next sessions
Here a good news for all those who are studying in ninth standard in C.B.S.E affiliated schools, from next year onward there will no board examination in C.B.S.E schools. Earlier C.B.S.E had made board exams optional for academic year 2010-11. This step was taken to ease off the pressure that board exams puts on students, but C.B.S.E was taken by a surprise when almost 90% opted for board exams. At the national level too the response was poor.
This had compelled the C.B.S.E authorities to completely abandon the system of boards and conduct school based tests. However the steps is taken keeping in mind the school children who face a lot of pressure but it is being criticized by many. According to them if this step is implemented there will no competitiveness among children. Time will tell whether it proves to be beneficial for the society or not.
