The board of ING Vysya Bank in its meeting on 24 April 2012 has recommended dividend at the rate of Rs 4 per share (40%) for the year ended 31 March 2012.
The Nifty is likely to open flat on mixed global cues. It is likely to trade in
the range of 4890-4960. The trading strategy would be to create long positions
if the Nifty takes support at around 4900 levels for targets of 4930 and 4950. On
the other hand, one can also create short positions if it resists at around 4960
levels
Jindal Steel has bought 10% stake in Gujarat NRE Coking Coal (GNM) for
close to $25 million. Jindal Steel paid $0.25 per share for 10 crore shares of
GNM, which was a 48% premium to GNM’s closing price of $0.17 per share on
May 25. Apart from the stake sale, the two signed off-take agreement over 10
years supply of 5 million tonne of coking coal for Jindal Steel’s India operations.
Australia-based Gujarat NRE Coking Coal Ltd owns and operates two premium
quality hard coking coal mines required in steelmaking. The deal is expected to
be completed by May 30, 2012. On May 8, JSPL had acquired 9.25% stake in
another Australian company Apollo Minerals for $1 million. JSPL also has a
27.7% stake in Australia’s Rockland Richfields another coking coal miner.
Today market closed on negative note as all the major indexes nifty, sensex , bank nifty were low. Infratel, powergrid were among the top gainers of market and lupin and tata power were among top market losers.
