All you got to do is convince your parents for the marriage. Explain to them, they can never guarantee a happy married life to you by marrying to you with a guy of different gotra. What matters today is that, both - boy and the girl share a mutual understanding and respect each other's differences. This is what is needed in today's relationships.

but I don't know how to convince my parents and also my lover's parents I think that will be a tough job to convince them.

ppl of same gothra are like brother n sister...better keep ur gothra secret..dont say his gothra to ur parents...
