Osram Hyper White lamps 5000K 12V...60 - 55W compatible with Bajaj Discover 125CC DTS-i?

Respected Sir,

I purchased Bajaj Discover 125CC DTSi bike (Self Start) in May, 2005. This evening, I bought OSRAM Cool Blue Hyper White 5000K bulb from their Authorised Wholesalers in Mumbai.

The specification for this bulb is as follows:
H4 COOL BLUE Hyper White
12V - 60/55W
Made in Germany

Now, since my Bajaj Discover 125CC DTSi I believe is an ES (Electrical Start) version for which Bajaj mentions in its Specification book as: 35/35 W HS1...I wonder how H4 bulbs get fitted into the front headlight connector?

Secondly and "Most importantly”, will this Osram 60/55W H4 (Hyper White 5000K) work for my Bajaj Discover 125CC DTSi Bike (Self Start)?

I have been reading on the internet that Electrical system needs to be changed from AC to DC...coil rewinding required b'coz the “Magento” doesn't deliver more than ~40W to a bike's headlamps?

Is this true?

Also, could you kindly let me know if I need to do some modification to my bike, For e.g. Electrical system?

What is RR Unit exactly and what wiring needs to be changed for my Bajaj Discover 125CC?

What is this relay (cut-out)? Do I need this for my purpose or “Can it help me in anyway for utilising full potential of my OSRAM 5000K Bulb?”

The one who told you all the AC-DC Thing and all seems to be a jerk.

The Automotive electrical system is always DC. The battery is Always DC.

One thing for sure,
The 60W bulb is in range of cars, and will put too much load on bikes battery.

Stick to factory 35W bulbs.

better go with 35w...
