I am using iDea for the past 2 years and is extremely unsatisfied with their GPRS services. In kolkata at Rs 149 unlimited GPRS pack they offer a download speed of about 10-12 Kbps for the first 2GB then the speed gets dramatically reduced to about 4-5 Kbps. The 3G speed of iDea is decent (200-350 Kbps) but GPRS speed fully sucks... If you want good GPRS speed switch to Airtel or BSNL (You can even try Tata Docomo but their signal strength is weak) which offer good speed and signal strength....
