3G Activation TATA Docomo Hyderabad(AP Circle)

I have a tata docomo post paid connection in Hyderabad (AP Circle).Since I recently bought a smart phone,I would like to surf net and use all the available apps but the issue is tata docomo has not yet launched 3G in AP.Its available in most of the other states.Can someone please tell me how can I find out if it vil be launched in the near future or not.Since I am more than satisfied with the network's services,I dont wish to switch to other service provider.

If 3G is not available in your circle then you can't do much but I think docomo has collaborated with others to provide 3G service. If you switch your phone to 3G mode, do you get any signal or it says no service ?
