Divya Bharti - Angel of 90s Bollywood - Bio-Data, her life and Pictures
Divya Bharti was a one of the most short lived actress of Bollywood, she died at young age of 19 only, however though her career was very short, she had already tasted a success for which many actresses desire for whole life.
Not only she died young, she had also married at young to Sajid Nadiawala in 1992. Originally from Mumbai (then Bombay) she started receiving roles from the age of 14 however, it was until sixteen when she had lead role in Telugu superhit Bobbli Raja (1990) which gave her the unprecedented fame. She also acted in a Tamil film named Nila Penne but it failed. On the other hand, she was a phenomenon hit in Telugu Cinema because of back-to-back hits with established actors like Chiranjeevi and Mohan Babu.
Only in 1 year of time, she became most successful Telugu actress. In 1992, she started her career in Bollywood Hindi Cinema with Vishwatma with Sunny Deol, movie was not very successful but its song "Saat Samandar Paar" brought Divya in the limelight of Bollywood. Soon in one after another release, Divya had many successful Bollywood film including Shola aur Shabnam, Deewana. By mid-of 1993, she had acted in total 14 film and many became blockbuster.
Later she was also married to Sajid Nadiawala and changed her name to Sana Nadiawala.
Unfortunately, Divya died on 5 April 1993 at the age of 19 after falling off the balcony of her five-story apartment in Versova. Neighbors heard a sound of big thud and later found her unconscious in pool of blood, she took her last breath in ambulance which was taking her to hospital. Her cause of falling was never officially confirmed and is still considered a mystery by many.
In her short but successful career, she was already darling of millions of hearts. She had a innocent face of a doll and was a talented actress. Sometimes people use to refer has look alike of Sri Devi which liked a lot but she always insisted to have her on recognition. She even received Filmfare Award for Lux New Face of the Year.
