Lenovo A7000 touch screen problem - one side not working

I bought this model last year and i have been facing the touch screen problem for almost 2-3 months now. It is so bad that have to rotate my screen to type messages and now it has gone worse. First it started with few letters not working on keypad then now almost quarter of the screen is paralyzed. Its a good phone for the price, except for this annoying problem.

Now I am very much annoyed and have lost faith in Lenovo as it was my first phone from this brand. Is there any fix to this issue or it is hardware issue or some bug in software ?

Doing a quick research over this phone from Lenovo, it is quite clear that this is manufacturing defect from Lenovo, obviously quality issue. If your phone is still in warranty then get its screen replaced or else do it on your own expenses. It should cost somewhere near Rs. 4500 to get its touch screen replaced. That should solve the problem.

PS: As you guessed it , its a hardware fault.
