ajay hello i have airtel 3g modem e1731
and i am using bsnl 2g sim card on it but my net speed is very slow and i am not connect to the net on wcdma network
net is work in only hspa or edge network
i was activated 3g services via sms actmig5 on the card but problem is not solve
so please give me a solution
It is basically Huawei e1731 modem and since you are able to use BSNL SIM already in it then it must be already unlocked . This modem support 7.2 mbps speed so 3G is supported in it. Looks like you have no BSNL 3G coverage in your area or signals are too weak.
You may simply insert your SIM in a 3G phone and see if 3G signals are proper at your place or not.
