Google Chrome Operating System Going to Launch in 2nd Half of 2010

Google is going to introduce new operating system in second half of 2010. Google is developing an open-source operating system targeted at Internet-centric computers such as net books. The Chrome OS will be available for computers based on the x86 architecture and which is used by Intel and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD), and the Arm architecture.

Google Chrome is Linux kernel based application, which can be written in standard Web programming languages, will run inside Google Chrome in a new windowing system. They will additionally run inside the Chrome browser on Windows, Mac or Linux machines, meaning that a single application could run on almost any computer.

Google promised a better computing experience on machines with faster access to e-mail, fast boot-up times, access to data from anywhere and the end of problematic hardware configuration, software updates and security issues

lets wait and hope Google Chrome Operating system work good in the market.

yah.. google chrome OS wil take time but wil surely take over windows.. as windows XP and 7 are consuming lots of hardware resource..lets see how google chrome does..

I was reading more about it lately and because google has a vast reach, it will surely spread its new operating system to masses. As per google, this will be very fast to load and is being prepared keeping in mind that most of the world today is around internet hence, it will incorporate a lot of things which you find common on web.

Lets wait and watch, though will be a quality product for free :P
