Opera 9 is not working on pc

I am working on different browsers like google chrome, ie 7, opera and safari simultaneously. But I found opera most convenient. But once some thing (like setting change) was happened by me (Although I am not particular about it) and after that Opera 9.64 is not working. Every time I open any website with it, it returns with error (connection closed by remote server). I have tried to solve it. I removed opera totally and then reinstalled. This I have done at least 5 times.

Although in my office opera is working fine, but not at home. Can anybody solve my problem?

Opera is Undeniably the best browse out there and has'nt crashed down on me ever since i started using 5 years back!

maybe your PC is struck with a virus that has messed up some important system files required to run opera.

Try running the Portable version of opera and let me know!
