State Bank of India Debit card not received after 1 month of application

Sir,

I had broken my debit and then I visited my bank branch of SBI and gave application for my new card in June 6 2011, the bank promised that they will send me card in 15-20 days but now its more than a month and I have still not received my new debit card replacement. I visited bank branch many times and every time they see their register and say your card has not yet arrived. There is also Rs. 200 deducted from my account as debit card replacement charges on 9th June but still I have not received my card.

I called SBI customer care but they say they have no status about your card. Please visit your branch to get details.

Please Sir, send me card as soon as possible.

You should visit Branch manager immediately and inform him about the detail. Ask him to reissue card if there is no status update with him like if card was returned or was it actually ever dispatched ?
