Confused about getting decision of marriage on an orkut relation

Hi, I am an Indian guy studying in USA. I am 26 yrs old. About a year and half ago I met this girl on orkut who also happens to be my school mate. Now we have been dating on internet, phone for that time. Recently her mom forced her to get commitment from me. Now I can't go back to india at least for a year.

So my question is, how can I give my commitment to a girl whom I haven't even mate? 'Casue seeing through internet and seeing personally makes a lot of differece.

Why u r so confused ? this girl must hav also faced same problem about getting committed to you. When this girl has taken decision then why you worry. It is not possible for u to come India for next two years.. so what. This girl is also having same situation but she choose you.

Internet give you lot more exposure about one's personality than in real so you are more close to her philosophically. Go ahead and take your decision. Also you know her already from log because she was your school mate ..wht is the confusion ?

Forget about orkut, u can never commit even after meeting her personally!
For commitement, you shoud spend enough time 2gether, understand each other and then decide.

If this is not allowed by her mom, then forget getting deeper into it...

Then, please continue your studies and when yo come back 2 India, you will find either her (if she really loves u) or somebody else waiting for u...
