[font=Verdana]What makes you proud to be indian !! Are we surely happy to called indians with so much unhappiness around us !! so much tension terrorism and so much corruption. Rapes, kidnappings, murders, every day use commodities so expensive !! Strikes shortage of fuel, child labour poverty and so many other things !!
:( :( no country in this world is free of all these things(Rapes, kidnappings, murders etc) even a developed country like America is not free of all these problems.
So in my view we should think positive and should be proud of things what other countries are not(e.g INDIA is largest democratic country in the world n we should be proud of it) there r lots of things we should be proud of.
so just cheer up n I AM PROUD TO BE AN INDIAN ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

If we have some problems then we too have some advantages. Meet someone who is from a place where you think he is proud of belonging to it. But talking to him you fill find that he has many things to complain about it. So, extending Kamal's reply, everyone has their own problems.
So I am happy to be Indian.
Its Indian Tradition, the respect and genroousity that makes me Stand in proud.
Espeically when i see that half the marriages in Developed contries break up, Kids kill parents, Elderly are thrown outta the house...and what not.
India is 10000X better.
As being an Indian we still feel proud of our healthy culture which i hope have to spread more to our comming generation
I proud to be Indian, because of our freedom fighters of our nation who sacrifice their valuable life for freedom of our nation ie providing freedom for us !!!!!!!
So ,
" Ye mere vatan ke logo jara yaad karo voh kurbani !!!!"
and proudly say
"Me hun Hindustani !!!!!"
