How can i use AJAX Poll in PHP ?

Sir, I have just working on a web page in which I want to create a Poll by which the users can poll their opinion. But as i told that i have just learned it and don't have the proper knowledge about this coz i making it first time. So, I need the help of expert who can give me a best solution for it ? so plz help me !
