Indian shares tread water in early deals

ndian shares were little changed early on Wednesday on mixed global cues, and trading is expected to choppy ahead of expiry of derivatives contracts on Thursday.



At 9:56 a.m. (0426 GMT), the 30-share BSE index .BSESN was down 0.02 percent at 17,128.47 points, with one-third of its components declining.

The 50-share NSE Index .NSEI was up 0.04 percent at 5,092.35
