Confused in Love -He likes me or not - not sharing his feelings

hey...since last one year me and my friend named yash are in same class.his zodiac is cancer so he's a bit shy in letting his feelings out.we are from same group of friends.
sometimes i feel like he likes me.
i have seen him many times staring at me.he pays a lot of interest in my personal life.if we go somewhere like going for a movie or anything he tries to sit near me.but near directly tells his feelings.
also he never by himself says hie or anything to me always i have to go and greet him.but he becomes very happy when i do so.
he cares for me a lot.
but sometimes he makes me feel like he don't likes me at all.
like around 2 days back one of my friend asked him that do you like aastha.he dint replied for sometime then he said why are you asking this...then she said first you tell...then he said no first you....so my friend said what if i say she likes you....so he said i dont want what if's say it directly...then my friend said okay...then listen directly she likes you...do you also like her...then he said no i don't like her...but she's a good friend...while they were having this chat also i texted him that my friend is joking with you so dont take anything seriously...but still if he would had any feelings for me he wouldn't had straightaway said that he dont likes me...
i am damn confused now what should i do...i like him...what do you think is on his mind...please reply asap!

I saw that every time you referred it as does he LIKES you.. so its more about crush and fantasy than any love. I read all, making it short, you both are idiots, if you both have crush on each other then express or else forget about it. But then , it happens at this age.

Now , all you need to do is stop talking to him at all, stop looking at him, start avoiding him and when anyone asks, say "if he doesn't like you" then you don't want to talk to him / talk about him, rest will be automatic, things will be conveyed to him.

Well, by what you have written above and the way you have written it makes me believe that you are college going young, immature girl who is very fun loving and very cheerful.

You should understand that, love is never done on judgement basis as to whether your friend loves you or not ? Also, if you are afraid of moving forward in love, its way better to stop yourself here and stop thinking about it.
But love is not defined in this way. If you really like him and you cannot stop thinking about him 24*7, better would be to speak your heart out to him, tell your feelings to him without having any expectations, regrets, grudges in your heart, questions in mind.

Your love should be pure and should not be influenced by what he thinks and believes about you. If he really loves you, he will accept you. If not, then you very well know what to do.

And yes dear, there is nothing wrong if a girl proposes a guy. All that matters is you had that courage to tell your feelings to him. So, speak your heart out because if you don't do it now, you might regret later and life might not give you another chance to justify your love.

So, go for it.

It takes time to understand what love is, in young age people are generally adament and hasitant to express love, sometimes because they are not sure about it and sometimes they feel it may hurt your stand if you propose first. But they realize very late that if you love it then you have to convey it or else regret it life-long.

There are many cases here when people actually denied their love but realized it very late and thus creating trouble for many (including themselves) as then people take steep steps to get their love which otherwise would have been less troublesome to get in past.
