Effect of too much "Democracy" !

Posco, the South Korean steel major, is planning to set up a 12 million tonne per annum steel mill at an investment of Rs 51,000 crore.

Though the company signed an MoU with the state government on June 22, 2005, work has not progressed due to hurdles in land acquisition. While the company required 4,000 acres, it has not been able to acquire an inch till date.

The problem is vested interests..fighting it out on some pretext or other
in the name of landless poor and underprivileged.
Using thugs, goondas and even maoists to kidnap, kill and force
to make the project a failure.

Indian democracy means Freedom without responsibility and accountability.
Where the loudest minority wins and the silent majority lose.

I agree and I would rather say that we are exploiting the term democracy in India.

ya . i am agree with both point of views. we,the citizen of india are taking the advanage of the word "DEMOCRACY"...i think Shubhash Chandra Bose was right that india needs limited democracy .
