How much power needed for your computer from power supply ?

I have a PC with dual Hdds, dual DVD ROM - Writers and few extra things. I thought that its already a lot so I bought 450watt power supply instead of 250wath I had. (450watt is not too much) but recently I found this link

It said that all I have can be easily handled by 183WATT supply ..

So check there that how much power you really need.
