CBSE to reduce burden for Social Science paper:Alteration in Syllabus

Social Science will get less burdensome for students of class X in 2008-09 session. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to change the assessment system of social science paper and not include any question from Disaster Management from 2009 Boards onwards. Disaster Management, introduced as the fifth part of Social Science syllabus in 2005-06, will only be evaluated through project work from now on.
