New Bajaj Pulsar 135cc LS bike Launched - Price and Information

Pulsar 135 LS is powered with a state of the art 4-valve DTS-i engine.The new Pulsar, which will be manufactured from Chakan plant, is priced at Rs 51,000 ex-showroom Delhi. This bike at produced 13.5 PS power at 9000rpm and 11.Nm of torque at 7500rpm. The bike is light and because of its higher power to weight ratio, this bike will give stunning performance.

Bajaj expects to sell a minimum of around 30. 000 units per month of the newly launched model. Bajaj belives that the total sales of the entire Pulsar range would easily cross 80,000 units per month.

Bajaj Auto pocketed net profit of Rs 402.83 crore during Q2 September 2009, up 117.85 per cent from the same period of previous year.

i just want to know abt 4valve technology

To explain in short, instead of 2 valves, they now used 4 valves which enables even better supply of fuel to the cylinder thus increasing efficiency of the engine. It does increase efficiency but the difference is not big enough.

Pulsar 135 LS - driving comfort is good. Pick up is good , mileage comes around - 58 km per liter. driving at 60 km its smooth and has good road grip. :) :-*
