Is there any option for Direct MA students to do Ph.D?

I am Ramesh from chennai. I have done my MA (Hindi) through Karnataka State Open University. I don't posses any 10+1+2 or UG Degree. I got admitted to MA with eligibility criteria of Rashtra Bhasha Praveen from Dakshin Bharath Hindi Prachar Sabha. Now, I want to do my Ph.D in Hindi. When I approached IGNOU they told only it is possible for the students who posses 10+1+2 stream qualification. Is there any chance for me to do my Ph.D in Hindi? Thanks in advance for your answer.

That is a weird case, have you tried approaching any other university apart of IGNOU because technically you are eligible to do PH.D however, most university now conduct entrance exam for ph.d aspirants.
