How can I reset my phone which is a Nokia N96. I don't want to delete my contacts and sms but only want to reset it. Please guide me and tell me the procedure to do it. Can I do it myself or I have to take my phone to nokia care nearby. I live in Jhansi city please help for this.
Try a soft reset . Also you can try 3 button finger reset, it will also keep your personal details intact however, only if they are stored in card. Anything in phone memory will be erased automatically.
For 3 button finger reset..
1. Turn off your phone,
2. Now hold call button, cancel button and camera button altogether.
3. While keeping them pressed, now turn on your phone
4. Keep all three button pressed untill you see "language selection"..
5. DONE :) no step five
