How to know Minimum Required balance for SBI account

Hi,

SBI has decreased MAB (Monthly average balance) but I am still not sure how much is required for my account. My account with state bank of India says its a SBCHQ-GEN-PUB-IND-NONRURAL-INR.
From above I can make out that its NON-RURAL account but in which category does it fall ? I am not in a metro city but still I am confused.

Is it Rs. 3000 MAB or Rs. 2000 MAB applicable for my account ?

Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

You have 3000 MAB applicable for your account because your account is non-rural which means Urban and now all large cities and metro are non-rural with 3000 MAB at SBi.
