Hi,
I have installed Ubuntu and by mistake and XP is wipedout fully. I want to reinstall XP and remove Ubuntu. I tried with inserting XP CD, but it is not installing, but opening all files. Pls. help how to remove Ubuntu and reinstall XP on my desktop!!

You can keep both side by side ie. dual boot. but as you said incidently you removed XP. So now you need XP back.
Well, doing simple XP install will remove ubuntu given that you delete all ubuntu partition while XP install.
Just make sure that Your first boot device is set as CD drive. You can see it from your BIOS.
After that you can install xP easily.
