Micromax A110 canvas 2 phone wifi hotspot tethering problem

Hi

I am now facing new problem with this phone, I thought to use it WIFI tethering feature to share my phone's connection with my laptop. I turned on wifi tethering in my micromax A110 Canvas 2 phone and set up password also set my laptop to get ip address automatically and then finally connected. It connected fine but internet is not working on my pc. Internet is working fine on phone itself but not on the pc. I tried same sim over other phone with tethering feature it worked fine. I also removed on of the sim and tried with single sim but again it not worked.

This is frustrating.

I don't know how tethering works.. I have also purchsed this phone few days ago. What is this tethering all about ?
