How to unblock MEP code in Blackberry model 9780?

HI,
I just got a new Blackberry mobile phone from england as a gift from my friend, but the problem is there when i placed my sim card in it, it is demanding to enter a mep code totally unawared about it. It only offers 10 tries for a correct code i tried my own codes in it for unlocking it to use in pakistan, but now its 10 tries are completed and not a single mobile shop person is taking it to unlock as they said its 10 retires are completed please some one help what do i do now.
