hi,reading the news paper i just came to know that a chopper from IAF has been crashed while rescuing. I want to know that how many people died in this crash. Are there are any records maintain by IAF or details. Please mention it clearly.

There were 19 people onboard including NDRF, ITBP and IAF personnel. Eight bodies have been recovered. RIP.
According to the latest reports 21 people were onboard. 19 bodies have been recovered. No survivors.
Well, this is seriously shocking. Also, some of the politicians are playing dirty politics over here just to enhance their vote bank. As per the reports India is the largest importer of arms in the world and still we have 22 choppers for rescue it is a shame.
Not many may be knowing that the Indian Air Force owns the largest helicopter in the world : Mi-26. This chopper is being used in the rescue operations. So at least some of the money spent for imports is being put to good use.
