I did a fresh install of xp and enabled hibernation. I was working fine for 2-3 days but after that it is disabled.
When I try to enable then it says that file is in use with other process.

How did you enable the disabled hibernation button?
I did by going to control panel > power options > hibernation and there it has enable disable button
You knw someting? When the display driver has problems or removed then hibernate wont work.
Ashok is right, you may try to reinstall your display driver and then update us.
