I am bored with my online love relation-how to make it strong?

Hey all I am 17 year old girl. I meet a boy online who was my senior . We eventually turn into open relation. we talk on phone sometime. But what the problem is we don't have much to talk about. we start feeling bored with each other. I like him a lot. We do romantic talks but he don't go more with it. we don;t even have sex chat though I feel very romantic. I want my relation to get easy !! I sometime feel he's not serious though our relation in based on open relation ship. I want my relation to move forward and get stronger . It is like just a year . we dnot talk abt frnds family... I get bored sometime. pls help....
