1.Viewers Choice Awards:- It is based on the choice of viewers through polling.

2.Jury Choice Awards:- It is based on the judgement of an official jury selected to give away these awards, generally the jury member are those which gain much experience and are star performers in their work.

3.Technical Awards:- It is also based on the judgement of official jury.

Zine Cine Award for Best Actor Male (Popular) - Salman Khan (Dabangg 2), Salman Khan seems to be the most popular hero this year. Arbaaz Khan recieved the award on behalf of Salman Khan.

Zine Cine Award for Best Actor Female (Popular) - Priyanka Chopra (Barfi), one of the most finest performance by Priyanka Chopra.

Zine Cine Award for Best Director - Anurag Basu (Barfi!).

Zine Cine Award for Best Film (Popular) - Barfi, all the starcast were appreciated by the viewers in terms of their performance.

Zine Cine Award for Best Film (Jury) - Kahaani, very well written as well as directed.

Zine Cine Award for Best Director (Jury) - Sujoy Ghosh
