Burning Smell From the Front of the Car When Speed Crosses 100Kmph

Friday after a 45 minute highway ride in our 2008 Honda City I noticed a burning smell which smelled much stronger than the typical hot tires. When I checked around and under the car I traced the smell to the front right tire. I could not find any evidence the tire was rubbing against anything, or any evidence of any fluid leaking in the tire well or in the engine block on that side of the tire.

Would could be the source any suggestions plz?

You can also develop burning smell from the brakes. This occurs if you are riding the brakes or braking very hard. If you are going down a very steep hill and riding the brakes, then this friction can become so great that your brakes smoke. This is not a problem if it occurs once in a while. However if you notice a burning smell from the brakes during regular driving then there is a problem. A caliper piston in the brakes may have seized which causes the brake to drag. If this is the case, you will need to have this fixed.
