Highest Mileage ever by Indian Diesel Car 46.33 KMPL from a TATA MANZA

I was reading this on website and I think its worth sharing here.. Mr. Narayanan R Menon, Managing Director of Aromen Engineering Company has managed to clock 46.33 kilometeres to the litre fuel efficiency in his Tata Manza Quadrajet. The record was set on the Coimbatore- Avinashi by-pass on 25th of May 2011. Mr. Menon achieved this stunning fuel efficiency figure as he covered 72.3 kilometer on road by consuming only 1.58 liters of diesel. Mr. Menon emphasizes that regular servicing and maintainance of the car is critical to achieving good mileage. This feat has been incorporated into the Limca Book of Records.
