Ok.. this question was bothering me from long, some people say that you can use netstat command to know IP of the person who is chatting with you but its not easy for me.
You know by IP you can get to know if that guy or girl is saying truth or not about their location.
So anyone know good and easy way to know IP address of the person with whom we chat ?
welll i guess tht is not possible dude.. othewise every one could easily track from which country we are chating...but stil cant assure.. ill also so some research and let u knw if it is possible
Chat using GAIM and it will show you IP address of chat user.
Also, you may simply ask your friend to send you email, in that email you can see his IP address in email headers (full headers).
