A village of thiefs: District Katihar,Village: Muserpur-Zurabganj

I recently came to know about this village which is situated in Bihar , District Katihar and the name of village is Muserpur-Zurabganj, I am not sure if it is name of one village or two village combined.

Ok the interesting fact about this village is that people here want their wards to be a professional thief, they do not want them to be a lawyer, businessman or something similar. Favourite one is chain - snatching as police said. This village is about 200 kilometers away from City of Patna and there people prefer their child to be a professional thief. They have experts to teach them. The population of the village is around 4000 and almost all are engaged in this illegal profession.

It is said that there is one person who actually is behind all this but now its so widely accepted in village that villagers learn all techniques here and then go out to other cities to earn.

They even have a committee to whom everyone has to send a small part of earning. The work of committee is to get thieves out of trouble like courts, police and all expenditure will be then taken by the committee.

They have contacts with lawyers etc. and mostly they do it fast if any one from them gets into trouble.

i knw.. when police knows such important information about this place why they are not going and catching the ppl involved.. why they are jst keeping quite..
