vista aero display troubleshooting

i have windows vista ultimate edition sp1 32 bit. i m using it on my laptop machine copaq npresarrio waht is happen is that today i opened the windows it was working but the aero image and some features like volume backup and system restore is not working what the heck is this tell me how to figure out this. My alptop is fully capable of running vista and i have all update drivers. HELP!!!!!!!!!

Though your Computer is capable of running Vista but still can you tell us what is configuration of your Laptop and also where you get the copy of the vista ?
Was it bundled with your Laptop ?
