HDFC Bank AQB SER CHGS INC ST & CESS APR-JUN2011 - Rs. 827 deducted

Dear Sir,

I just found that in my HDFC bank saving account Rs. 827.25 has been deducted and they have given details as :
AQB SER CHGS INC ST & CESS APR-JUN2011, I think some charges for April and June 2011 months but what are these charges.

There is no explanation and no details and it is first time I have seen these charges in my bank account statement. Please tell me what are those charges and why they are in my bank statement.

These are minimum balance non-maintaining charges. AQB stands for Average Quaterly Balance , you should have minimum average balance on daily basis for a quarter. I think you should verify what is your minimum balance for your HDFC bank because it is generally Rs. 10000 . If you failed to maintain rupees 10000 on average , they will make these charges.
