As you are living in rural area then it would be best to buy petrol because LPG filling center are rarer and in rural areas it will be very difficult to find them so go for petrol version.

Santro Eco (LPG )costs Rs 21,500 more than the existing petrol model. Santro eco is priced Rs 354,294 (GL) and Rs 373,357(GLS). Prices of both the variants of Santro Eco indicated are ex-showroom Delhi. Hyundai Santro Eco which run on both LPG and petrol will give fitting competition to Maruti Suzuki’s Wagon-R Duo.

I just want to know what are risk factor involved in LPG variant.....I have heard that these cars catch fire very easily and various other risk are involved in these cars......
